Good friends going through College and qualified together in 1962. Always great company and cherished memories of our last meeting in July last year.

I haven’t see John since we sat together in secondary school in O’Connells in the 1950s, But he was one of the people I always remembered from those far off days. Always friendly and pleasant and even then had his sights set on being a Veterinary. A sad loss to family and clients

I worked with John & Noel for 16 years. It was a very happy time. They were 2 great employers.
John was a “one off” no doubt! Never a dull moment. We have lost one of life’s true gentlemen. Rest in Peace dear John.

I just watched Johns funeral service on screen. What a loving and eloquent tribute to John. Only for COVID St. Peter’s would have been overflowing and traffic at a standstill from Shankill to Dargle bridge. My sincerest condolences to Betty, Dan and all the family. His like will never be known again.

Dear Bairbre, So sorry to hear of your father's passing. I have fond memories of calling on him with my dog many years ago and remember his kindness. Incidentally, my brother Fergal gave your dad a photo of a yellow canary which featured on the front cover of an early edition of the Veterinary News.
