Caroline, Adam & Amy, you have always been the truest of friends and no words could ever thank you for all your kindness. Although we could never even begin to fathom what you are going through, we all have such fond memories of Johnny and the times we spent together. You both were always so welcoming and Johnny truly was and will always be a true gent and friend. With all our love always.

I was shocked to hear of Jonathan’s sudden death from members of Enchiriadis Treis choir. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your tragic loss.

I am very sorry to hear about Johnny's recent passing. I spent a couple of years mostly sailing against Johnny in Laser II's in the 90's and he was a lovely guy, generous and always gave 100%. I have really good memories of him and wish the Devitt family my deepest sympathies at this time.

Deepest condolences for your loss. Whilst I only met with Johnny a few times he was clearly such an inspirational person to all those lucky enough to have met and spent time with him. You are in my thoughts at this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to the Devitt family. I had the privilege of working with Johnny at DAZN on a few projects that he was very passionate about. He was fearless, passionate and always made his point known, something I loved about him. His attitude to be the best and succeed have definitely been elements of inspiration that I carry with me.

JD did get me, and perhaps the entire marketing team hooked onto Percy Pigs thanks to his occasional sweet drop across the office floor.

Dear Caroline, Adam, Amy and the Devitt family, I worked with Johnny at DAZN for just over a year and as you can imagine he made the workplace a wonderful place to be.
He never failed to make me laugh with his fearless approach. He had started a new fitness class when we last spoke and he was telling me about these handstand push ups that he was in the process of mastering (I think there was a lady in the class that could do more than him). I have no doubt in my mind he mastered the art of those handstand push ups, just as easily as he had mastered the art of winning the friendship and hearts of everyone he came in contact with.
I’m so deeply sorry for your loss.

I only had the pleasure of working with Johnny at DAZN since the start of this year, but he quickly became one of my favourites. While I loved his directness and forthrightness, underneath it all was a kind and compassionate human being. While coping with a serious health issue in my immediate family, he would never fail to reach out, ask how things were, and offer me his support. RIP JD.
