Deepest sympathies to the Rowley family on the passing of Johnny. He was such a lovely person. Always cheerful and chatty when I would meet him at Shows or sales. A great cattle man who loved the Shorthorn breed most of all. Some really beautiful tributes to him here which I can totally identify with. May he rest in peace.

It was with a great sense of sadness that we heard of the death of Johnny Rowley, and we extend our condolences to his extended family. He was a man you would love to meet, with many interests. A great judge of cattle, and of footballers he was a true and loyal Mohill man, and he will always be remembered for his connection to the 1971 Mohill Championship team with whom he was a selector. Many tributes have described him as a gentleman, and he was all of that, and more. May his gentle soul rest in heaven.

It is with great sadness we bid fond farewell to our dear friend Johnny. We miss his friendly smile and wave as he drove past our house several times a day. We miss the chat when he stopped to give his friend Gunner, the Shetland Pony, a treat from his bag of hay. Most of all Sylvester, Debbie, Sylvia, Tracy, Paul and myself have wonderful memories of our family visits to Johnny and Michael on Christmas nights. Michael made us Cornee Cocktails and of course the children's cocktails were a lot sweeter and way bigger glasses than Dad's & Mam's (and way less potent) Thanks for the memories Johnny & Michael. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Brian, Christine, Patrick, Nicola, John, Noreen and families as you bid a fond farewell to your brother, uncle, dear friend Johnny. Rest peacefully Johnny with your loved ones and Angels in Heaven🙏✝
