Sincere condolences to the Brennan family on the death of Joseph. A true pioneer who singlehandedly transformed an industry. My late father who owned a bakery in the midlands often told me stories of occasionally meeting Mr Brennan when he was operating out of Fumbally Lane and was struck by his determination and vision. I later found out how formidable was the machine he built when I sold bread in Dublin. Ni bheidh a leitheid aris ann. RIP.
