When past rugby times of the former Drogheda Rugby Club are recalled, by those who are still around, Joe Bellew will always be remembered as being part of those happy days. Great times and friendship were shared, on and off the pitch. Joe has gone to join many of those rugby friends in the hereafter and he will be welcomed. To those of us left to lament his passing, we share his loss with his many friends and above all his dear family. We tender our deepest and heartfelt condolences to his beloved wife, Annree, his children, his brother Cyril and the extended Bellew family.
