Joseph (Joe) Bruton

My dear friend Joe, a gentleman and a gentle man, I had the pleasure of Joe's company throughout our time in college, I was so utterly shaken upon hearing of his passing today.
Joe brought an energy to every room he walked into...he was the most decent and genuine person anyone could have the good fortune to meet. My deepest sympathies to frankie and all his family. He did ye all proud.

We were all shocked and saddened to hear the news.
We met Joe for the first time in Sept 1999 in UL and he moved in with us the next day.
He was one of the kindest, caring lads you could meet and always a great sport & up for a laugh. We had great times over those years in Limerick, with Joe at the heart of them.
"Big Joe" will live on in the memories, the stories and the laughter.

Joe was a truly gifted person, he had more ability and potential in his finger tips then the majority of people. His wit, his ability to make others happy and his kindness and ability to help others without thinking of himself made him always stand out. All these very positive gifts makes his loss all the more difficult to accept. What a huge gap he will leave in your lives. But know in his passing that people that knew him, were always the better for having known him. From junior infants to today, you remain one of the most gifted people I’ve met Joe, bursting with brains and potential. May you rest in peace.
