Marie,

my sincere sympathies to you, Cathy, Stephen, Joseph and grandchildren. Today, I have just learned of Joe's passing and I am shocked. He was in such great form last Christmas and as always, I enjoyed our conversation which covered many topics. Joe had a brilliant intellect.

Joe was a dear friend and gentleman from whom I learned so much. He gave generously of his time to both talk and listen.

Above all Joe was deeply devoted to his family and bore the passing of Peter with such great dignity. He was so proud of you all.
