May he rest in peace with his wife Maura and extended family in Ardmayle. I don't know what it is about the place but it seems to draw it's souls in and give them a peaceful and joyous hereafter. Rest in peace Grandad. It takes a unique life story to produce such a one-of-a-kind man. You came from humble beginnings but lived an enviably full life, and you were always very generous and un-judgemental to me and my siblings despite our radically different childhoods. Jozef was an especially unique member of our family. It's with great pride his final resting place is here in Tipperary. He is among his own once again. Rest in peace with Maura now.

I'm proud to have had such an inspirational man as a grandad. There are not many like him: he could still crack a joke no matter what life threw at him- I’ll always remember that cheeky laugh.
