Julia, dear friend and fellow nurse. We met in Edinburgh where we were studying the history of nursing, reviewing assignments and writing essays together. Then the many fond memories of our long, late-night conversations at Mealrigg Hall with many cups of tea, and one special evening playing parts to a murder mystery. So many laughs with you and your family. We shared many talents, including sewing. Over the years there were times as I sat at my Bernina in the U.S., and wonder what you may be sewing on your Bernina in England. Rest in peace dear friend and may light perpetual shine on you and with all the other saints forever.
