Sincere sympathy to Seamus, Aidan, David, Stephen and Olan on the passing of Julian a much beloved wife, mother & grandmother. Julian was always a great person to meet and have a chat with, especially as they were jovial conversations and one felt the happier for them, she will be truly missed.

Over the last few days, we have all tried to come to terms with having to say goodbye to Mum far too soon. We can only hope that Granny needed to talk to her above. The grief of this overwhelming loss to our family has been dulled somewhat by the many stories told by so many people over these past few days. These have been added to our own cherished memories of a loving caring, hard-working and kind daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend.

We are grateful to all those who tried all they could to keep Mum with us a while longer and although we cannot hear her voice or see her smile no more we know Mum walks beside us still, just as she did before. She listens to our stories and wipes away our tears. She wraps her arms around us all and understands our fears. It's just she isn't visible to see with the human eye, she's left her human body but we know she'll never part. She will be watching over us all till we meet again for our next chat.

A loving mother most sincere

Sam, Aidan, David, Stephen, Olan, her dad John, Eamonn, John, Noreen and her extended family, We never would have felt ready to say good-bye to someone as special as Julian but losing her this way feels especially tough. No time to tell her how special she was to us but I think she already knew, we normally read each other’s minds. She was a brilliant mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother to Harvey and Dolly, niece, aunt, sister in law to Noreen and the McCarthy family who she loved so much and best friend to Maria and I for the last 54 years. Someone special to all. She was so proud of you all and genuinely so happy to have an outstanding loving husband, children and family life. Dermot and I will miss her so much, her sense of humour, her honesty, her availability in times of need, her loyalty and kindness. With Julian, we never had to be anything only ourselves and she was always there for us. We are all so lucky to have had her in our life’s, to have such great memories of her, of her family over the years and a circle of friends to celebrate those memories with now.
