Jim said it was such a beautiful celebration & gathering for Karl. It sounded like great memories were shared & relived!

To all the Malone Family and Karls longtime partner Adrienne may I send you all my sincere and Deepest condolences on the sad passing of Karl. What a unique one in a million gent Karl was. To be honest Jim O'Connell said it All in his condolence message below. We got to know Karl so well when he would come down to us in Jim's front garden by the stream and the tall trees were our goal posts. Karl would Tower into the air above us all on the crosses and head the ball with massive power into the makeshift goals, whoever was in goal had a long walk to fetch the ball. No nets folks. Joe Jordan would have been impressed! My cousin Eddie Culshaw also grew up playing with Karl as very you kids when he would be down in Ballinteer visiting his grandparents they lived across from our fathers Farringtons home place in Ballinteer Pk. Eddie sent me a fab photo of himself and Karl standing beside our then uncles Hughes Dairies milk float, they were about 5 yrs old possible taken around 1969ish. I showed the pohot on my phone to Paddy and Richie outside the church after the fabulous mass, they liked it very much and I wil get a copy to you guys.

So, The Quo (Richie), SRFC and Man U No 1 fan Karl has sadly left us too soon but never be forgotten... Thanks for the great memories Karl that so many of us have of those youger happy years together and of course that famous Raley Chopper possibly purchased in Joe Dalys!

Dear adrienne,Richard,maeve, paddy and gwen and all the family, my heartfelt condolences on the sad passing of karl, I have great childhood memories of being friends of karl right into our teens, I grew up in dundrum across the road from alexandra terrace, I was friends with eoin Byrne and we got to know karl from his visits to his grandparents and uncle Ken, we shared the same passion for shamrock rovers and man utd but his greatest passion was status quo,we played football at the top of alexandra terrace and down in my front garden, he idolised joe Jordan the man utd centre forward then,we spent many days on the terraces of Milltown with his dad and uncle Jimmy, his favourite was ray treacy, he was an accomplished centre forward himself, good in the air, but he made us all jealous one Christmas when he got a Raleigh chopper, he loved that bike, rest in peace karl, great memories, Jim O'Connell

I have great memories of Karl staying with his late uncle Kenneth myself and family for his holidays as a very enthusiastic and loving child and then as an adult a pleasure to know and talk too His suffering is over may he rest in peace.
