Kathleen was our friend and neighbour. We cherish the memories of her visits when she would wander down Knockaire - “The Park”– and call in for a chat - she always had the latest goings on in the area. She was great company, spoke her mind, was interested in people and welcomed visitors unless it was at her scheduled mealtime. She loved her garden and was very proud to show it off. She was a very capable user of technology and made sure to kept up with the latest gadgets. Her death was a sad and shocking day for all her neighbours and friends. Kathleen was very much part of the fabric of our community in Knockaire and Knocklyon. It was consolation to us, Timmy, that you were with her in her final days and that she was in wonderful form to enjoy your visit until her final hours. Our sincere condolences to Timmy and the Greene and Buckley families. May you rest in peace Kathleen with your dear Michael.

Kathleen’s passing was as unexpected as it was shocking. For her it was a beautiful way to leave this troubled earth; for her family and friends it was a devastating wrench and loss. She was a special friend. She had her own way about her. She had no fear of speaking her mind and you knew exactly where you stood with her at all times. She embraced new technology with the enthusiasm of a digital native and was always ready to try something different.
She genuinely cared about people and was fiercely faithful to her Limerick roots.
Having Tim with her at the end was a bonus she could never have imagined and his loss and that of the rest of her family will take no small time to fade.

Absolutely devastated to hear of the sudden death of our lovely dear neighbour Kathleen. Kathleen always had a smile, time for a chat, always interested in family & grandchildren & a great head for practical advice. Kathleen was the first to greet us with a card & bottle of wine when we moved into Knockaire in 2000. Such a Lady. We shared a lot of interests, gardening, bridge, Church choir which she loved particularly. Kathleen had a real soft spot for her neighbours in "The Park" as she liked to call Knockaire. she was like everyone's
Mom. We will miss Kathleen greatly, but content that her beloved Tim got to be with her at the end & not alone our worst fear. Sincerest condolences to Tim & extended family & friends RIP dearest Kathleen at home now with your lovely Michael xx C&P & family
