Kay - you were one of life’s greatest characters. We worked together for over 15 years in 11890 and had some great laughs. After all your years working on the council lines for all those storms in Cork they finally named a storm after you (Kathleen).

I was so happy that I got to see you last week and have our usual chat and laugh along with some tears. I will cherish our last conversation forever and so grateful to your family for facilitating it.

Thank you for being a great colleague, friend and for all the numerous treats you forced us to eat over the years. You will never be forgotten.

Thinking of your heartbroken family especially Helen, Regina and Caroline who were so good to you over the last few weeks and not forgetting my little pal Tess.

Rest in peace Kay, love always - Sandra

Sincere condolences to Kay’s family and to Tess whom she adored and spoilt rotten. Tess landed on her paws the day Kay took her home.
I remember Kay so fondly. She was just a gorgeous person,’kind and compassionate with a great wit, laugh and sense of humour. She always greeted you with a smile and such warmth and was a very humble
person.
She was so kind especially to animals. If there was a stray cat or a cat living in the wild, she befriended them and fed them. She and I were referred to as the “mad cat ladies” in East Point! We fed the cats on campus. While I brought cat food, Kay brought chicken or ham!! She would give up her own lunch rather than see an animal hungry.
We had many laughs and chats together and she just had an easy and gentle way about her . I’d meet her in Albert College Park and we would always stop and have a catch up. I am forever grateful to her coming to my house every day to feed my cat Stan for a few days when I was away a number of years ago.
It was so lovely knowing and working with you Kay - truly one of life’s good people. Rest in Heavenly Peace.

Deepest sympathy to all of Kays family at this sad time. May Kathleen rest in peace.

I always called her Kay Senior in the office. Kay was one of a kind and I always loved seeing her in the office. She was always the one to have a treat in the morning for the break time.

She always had the kettle working overtime and always loved a chat.

I hope you get the best bed in heaven as you deserve it 👏

Love always
