My sympathies to all of the extended Pollock family on the passing of Kate. She was a great lady and a constant presence in the life of the generations of the Farren family at number 21. No trip to my grandparents went by without seeing Kate and the Jag outside. I remember Ben taking me back to boarding school one Sunday evening and pulling up outside and it was the talk of the dormitory afterwards.
Kate and Ben were a key presence in my grandparents lives and for that we can only say thanks and God Bless.
