Fondest memories of years ago in Ballymote - especially watching Wimbledon together every year, and her encouraging us all, as children, to play tennis. I remember when Gráinne started working first, and she was home for the weekend, your mam got her to buy all of the children on the street an ice-cream out of her first pay package! A lovely lady, wise and kind. May she rest in peace.

I am so sad to hear about the passing of Mrs O’Connor. I have such fond memories of her always. She was a great friend to us growing up in Ballymote and we were always running over and back between houses. I remember her in the kitchen doing all the embroidery on the fabulous Irish dancing costumes. She had us playing swingball in the front garden and tennis in the tennis courts. My favourite memory of her was us watching Wimbledon in our sitting room for hours!
I am thinking of you all at this very sad time. May she rest in peace.
