Deepest sympathy to the McCabe family on the death of Kathleen. May she RIP.
— Mary (Lee) Farrell, Keenagh, Ballyconnell, Co Cavan.
My condolences to the McCabe family. So so sad to hear of Kay’s passing. I will miss the chats across the garden wall when I visited Charleville Road, the chime of her grandfather clock through the wall and hearty conversations over a cuppa in her little back kitchen and a slice of her homemade apple tart. Such a wonderful spirit. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.
— Úna Casserly
So sad to only hear today of Kay's passing. Kay was a great neighbour, she had many gardening and political chats with our father. She visited our mother when she was house bound, they had many memories from Cavan and Meath. Kay was a very intelligent lady with a wicked sense of humour and a hearty laugh. I will miss our chats. We share in your sorrow but know that Kathleen is at peace. I and my family had a chance to meet with her at a Fitzpatrick reunion in Kinnagh Beg last summer. She filled our hearts with joy with stories of her youth and hanging out with our parents. We were very privileged to meet and spend time with such a grand lady. She will be in our memories forever.
