Just heard of the death of your brother Ken and I wish to pass on my condolences to you all. I had many a chat with Ken and found him to be a true gentleman with lots to say. May the lovely memories you all have of him live on in your hearts and may he rest in eternal peace.

Ken has been a client of mine here in Headway since I started and it is with a very sad heart that I heard of his passing. Ken loved his life in Cork and had his routine and places where he loved to visit. He will be greatly missed around the city and by all those associated with him in Headway. May he rest in peace.

I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Ken. I knew Ken from my time on the switchboard in Collins Barracks and as a neighbour who lived just across the way from me. Whether we spoke on the phone, met at work or bumped into each other in Bellevue Court we always stopped to say hello and have a short chat. Ken was always a friendly, pleasant and helpful person. RIP Ken and sincere sympathy to the Hanley family at this very sad time.

Dear Grainne, Brian and the extended Hanley family, I am saddened to hear of Ken's untimely passing. For as long as I know him, Ken loved to speak about his family and kept us informed about how you were all doing in your lives. He loved you all dearly. He was so proud to be a Hanley and equally proud to be an army man. He was so grateful to be able to go back to work with the army and it was so good for him. It was a pleasure to know Ken and he will be greatly missed. May Ken rest in eternal peace with his parents and brother.

It is with great sadness that I've heard of the untimely death of your beloved brother Ken. I knew Ken as a civilian colleague in Collins Barracks where we had great chats and banter. He was a gentleman and so dignified and faced life with such positivity. He was loved and looked after very well by all the staff in the Dining Hall.
