Our deepest sympathy to Seamus and all the Walsh family. We are heartbroken to hear about Ken. Always smiling and loved the chats. A gentle giant. When the boys were younger they wanted to know if Ken could be their 'fun-cle' uncle too when we were over in Seamus and Gens for family gatherings, he was such great fun to be around.

One day in 2018 I was walking from The Bing along the beach to shop in the Harbour. I met a tall handsome man with 2 massive bags of shopping.

"Waving!" he called over to me displaying the weight of the bags.
Oh how we laughed.

We talked so long on the strand I had to ascend the cliffs at the gullyway with my own bags. We spoke of photography & capturing light and I pointed at the massive hooded house I was staying in.
Christ he said.
Exactly I said, it's a Convent.
The Fourwinds is gone now.
And so is Ken.
I only met him that one time, but in the morning he had slid 2 of his photography postcards under the back door on the cliff, one of the Fourwinds called "Teach Tra" and a lobster pot in sunset.
They're on the wall beside me as I type this.
My condolences to all who loved him.
He's back in the light now, waving.

Ni bheidh a leithead ann aris.

Unreal! I can't believe it Ken. I was so sorry to get the news. You were always a true friend, with words of encouragement no matter how mad or crazy the next idea was. We came up with many a mad project but plenty of good ones too. I will make sure to follow up on one or two of them.

From the great days of Spirit all the ways up to now, I have nothing but good memories of my time with you. I'll see you when I see you my man!
