My deepest condolences to Anne and the Lee family. I had the pleasure of working with Kenny for several years and we were fast friends. He was always a delight, kind, charming and had time to chat with anyone. He had a wonderful way of making whomever he was talking to feel like they were the most important person in the room. We both had a passion for musical theatre and I remember Kenny telling me about his audition for Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. His rendition of If I Were a Rich Man was better than broadway. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
— Laura Kennedy

Sincere sympathy to all of the Lee family. I met Kenny over 40 years ago when I came to Cork. We became friends. Kenny ran a great show at Spiders and The Pav. He had a great sense of what might become a problem. He also had a very diplomatic way of keeping potential trouble at bay. Kenny wanted his patrons to have a great night out. He will never be forgotten by music lovers in Cork. Kenny, you were a pleasure to know and you were a great friend. Rest in Peace amigo.
