Dear James,

I was very sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I saw him in Dublin at our Mum’s funeral in April. He had very kind words and lovely stories of our parents, for me and my sisters. He was a terrific gent and will be sadly missed. May he Rest In Peace.

Really sad to hear of Kevin’s passing .My condolences to his family.I remember as a youngster listening to the 1957 All Ireland final and in awe when he landed the winning score from a “50” and the euphoria of Louth winning their first All Ireland title.I was lucky enough to meet him many years later in the Boar’s Head where he regaled us all with great stories of legends from his day..Great character and May he rest in peace.

He was a lovely man to know is the best I can think of to describe him but there are many other tributes to be paid to him from his family and wide circle of friends and from the GAA which formed a big part of his life.
