Kristin O'DONOVAN

I was saddened to read of Kristen’s death. I remember her from many years ago in Loreto Bray and how she used to gilde down the old avenue of Loreto. She was such a serene and gentle person.

So sorry for your loss, Michael. I only knew Kristin through her allotment garden, but was always lost in admiration at the way she painted beauty across the soil's surface. We will miss her gentle presence.

Kris a gentle, wise and calm spirit who brought a creative energy to whatever she turned her hand to... whether it was hand painting furniture, creating a beautiful living space, transforming a derelict and run down urban laneway to a place of colour and vitality rich with life, or providing a nurturing and healing environment Kris brought attention to detail, finesse and an eye for beauty to everything she gave her attention too. I am first cousin to the O'Sullivans in Queensland/NSW, with Una being my late father's sister. I had the pleasure of meeting Kristin a couple of years ago when Marie Ihle (O'Sullivan) was visiting Ireland. Kristin immediately came across as a lovely, gently and genuine person and I really enjoyed meeting her. I am saddened to learn of her passing and my thoughts are with Michael and Kristin's family and friends. May she Rest in Peace.

My sincere condolences to Michael and all of Kristin's family and friends. As others are writing here she was one of the gentle folk and also one of life's artists and care-givers. I knew Kristin first as a participant on one of our permaculture courses but I learned a lot from her in the years after. Her seed saving practice was shared one afternoon on a peer to peer programme in leadership a few years ago and her appreciation for the beauty of seeds and her care in packaging them up for sharing inspired all present. I still grow something I have labeled Kristin's little blue flowers. Her seeds of love remain and grow in the world. Suzie
