I’m so struck by your passing and I really hope you’re at peace now. I’m so sad that you chose our country yet it failed you. If only you could see all these lovely posts and know how highly people thought of you. We never spoke but I saw you many times, and I regret that.

May you rest in peace Kris. I did know you, the shy private person you were. I hope your family get comfort from the fact that you were well liked in Bray for yourself. You struggled with a very difficult life.
— Maureen
Kris' passing is truly sad. My sincerest condolences to his family. I'm glad for the few occasions I stopped to talk with Kris. He never actually asked me for anything but would graciously accept anything given. He was not invisible. He was not scary. He was quiet, gentle and could have been a son or brother of any of us. I regret not talking to him more, not helping him more. When you meet an adult you imagine they are capable of negotiating life in their own way. But sometimes it seems they are not. I hope that all of us who's lives briefly brushed against his might gain a will to help more and to learn from this sadness. He was not a few seconds in our lives. He was a whole life.
— Valerie
So sad to learn of Krzysztof's sad passing.I had spoken to him on many occasions and despite his circumstances, i always found him to be a pleasant gentle person.
Sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in peace. Gerry
— Gerry Curran
If I could throw this lifeless lifeline to the wind
Leave this heart of clay
See you walk, walk away
Into the night
And through the rain
Into the half-light
And through the flame
If I could through myself
Set your spirit free, I'd lead your heart away
See you break, break away
Into the light
And to the day
This desperation
Dislocation
Separation, condemnation
Revelation in temptation
Isolation, desolation
Let it go
Gentle handsome soul of a man
— Bray mother
Kris, May you now rest in peace and rise in Glory.

May you find peace young gentle handsome man, I didn't know your story but I would stop often & give you whatever change I could or a cuppa, you were always so grateful, one time a gang of romanians were starting on you, I & some other Bray people that day had your back. I'm sorry I couldn't do more. We have a duty to protect the most vulnerable in society.

As as resident of Bray can I express my deepest condolences to Krzysztof's family, in Ireland and Poland. Although I never met or spoke with him, the people of the town have spoken with affection about his big welcoming smile and his warm personality. We will never know why Krzysztof got displaced in this life but we know that he will finally rest in peace with Jesus who reached out to the downtrodden and overlooked.
— Pat Hannon
