I was so sad to hear that you had left us Larry.
I remember distinctly being in secondary school on the day RTE 2 was launched..and your dulcid tones over the airways...pure magic.
I had a serious crush on a girl in the school and after hearing a few songs played I just went up to her with her friends and asked her out.
40 yrs later that girl is now my beautiful wife...so thank you Larry for a lot more than the music.
Rest in peace and God bless you Larry Gogan....never forgotten by us...and our 6 children!!!!!!

Sincere sympathy to the Gogan family on the loss of Larry. I only met Larry once, but like so many other fans of his work, I spent so many hours in his company (on the radio) that I felt like I knew him personally.
He was as humble and full of personality in reality as he had always come across as on his shows.
I got my musical education as a child and adult from Larry, and I thank him most sincerely for that. May he rest in peace.
