Deepest sympathy to theRedmond Family.I joined the Bank with Larry.aEnjoyed working with him in our youth..I also worked with Darragh at the beginning of his career.They were two pure gents and my privelege to work with them

Sadly just heard of the death of a good friend and absolute gentleman Larry. My deepest sympathy to Christiane and to all the family on your sad loss. Larry in his 'retirement' was a most committed activist in community endeavour and chaired the first Neighbourhood Watch steering group for the greater Dublin region bringing reps from communities as far afield as Greystones and Balbriggan around the same table. Larry continued to support the most vulnerable always with a smile and a caring touch. He will be missed.

On behalf of Bray COPD Support Group, we would like to send our heartfelt condolences to his beloved wife Christiane, his son, daughters and grandchildren on Larry’s recent passing. Larry was a treasured member of our group, full of fun, mischief, helpful advice and he thoroughly enjoyed his weekly exercise classes in his retirement years. His great interest in genealogy benefitted me personally. We have many happy memories of Larry but will miss him very much. May he rest now peacefully with all his pain ended.

Daragh, so sorry to hear the sad news about your Dad. Sincere condolances to you, your Mum and family. I can vividly recall first meeting Larry in BOI Corporate back in 1979. He left an impression then as being unfailingly courteous and the many tributes being paid are testament to this. There is no doubt that he will be greatly missed.

I have very fond memories of working with Larry in Bank of Ireland of the early 80s. Always good humoured and mischievous, a kind gentleman. A pleasure to work for.

We got to know Larry through attendance at the Bray COPD classes and always found him in great form, a cheery man full of humour and knowledgeable about so many things. His struggles are over now and he is at peace. This morning’s service was a great celebration of a life well lived.

It is with great sadness that I have just learned of LARRY’s passing . We were class mates in Synge Street CBS. We sat beside each other in 5th and 6th year. Played tennis in Herbert Park , danced on Saturday nights in Mary’s LTC and served in the
FCA In our school Battalion the 44 th. Batt along with other class mates. I wish to extend my sincere condolence and that of my wife Eunice to Christiane and to the Redmond family their relatives and friends

Daragh, so sorry to hear of your huge loss. To this day one of the funniest lines I've ever heard in my life is "And you don't look like a strawberry to me". Thanks Mr Redmond for that memorable line. Hope you and your mum and family are holding up ok.
