Leah was not only the most lovely little girl, but as an adult she exemplified kindness, gentleness, generosity, thoughtfulness and incredible strength of character. Her emotional intelligence and professional dedication were enviable. We know how sorely she is missed . Rest in Peace, Leah.

May I offer my most heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Leah's family, partner and friends on her untimely passing. I first met Leah whilst working in Brookfield and she exuded a genuine, kind and caring nature, and always made time for anyone she met.

Leah was such a warm and welcoming person, and it was always fun to be around her. While part of the GAA club in Paris she gave so generously with her time and was always level headed and fair. Leah was a big part of my Paris life and I was one of the lucky ones that got to work with her professionally in Premier Tax Free as well as socialising with her as part of the Paris Gaels community. Dear Fiona, Carla, Paul, family and friends, all my condolences on your loss.
I knew Leah here in Paris, first with the local Paris GAA, and then with the local Paris Gaeltacht.
She loved her wonderful mix of France and Ireland and was always a joy to be with. Both B. Com’s, both accountants, and yet we never once spoke accountancy !
We got back in contact earlier this year for the feast of Saint Leah, 22nd March, a lovely French tradition of wishing people well on their saint’s feast day. She wrote back to me, totally in Irish, and threw in a word of French, thrilled to be studying teaching, and as ever enthralled by Paris, asking how we all are.
This Sunday 16th May, we will pray for her at the Irish Community Mass, Collège des Irlandais
On Sunday 6th June, Mass will be offered for her, again at Chapelle Saint Patrick, Collège des Irlandais, 300 years of Irish history in the very centre of Paris.

Sadly we lost touch over the years, but I’ll never forget her kind nature, gentle spirit and creative nature. I bumped in to her a couple of years ago in town and she was exactly the same, big smile for me and so easy to talk to. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I am so so sorry to hear of Leah’s sudden passing. Although we were in different regional groups and never met in person, we were sharing the same journey through Hibernia to become teachers. From reading everybody’s messages it is so clear that Leah was a lovely kind soul with a passion for teaching. May she rest in peace. Sending strength and love to your family and friends at this difficult time. There is a candle lit for you in Co Louth tonight.
