To Christine & your lovely family, Harry, Kevin, Breda and all the family and friends of Lester, I was so sad to hear of Lester's untimely death. I was privileged to know Lester for nearly 40 years after meeting him at one of Dan & Liam's 'lively' house parties in Rathdown Road in the early 80s and we shared some great times since. Lester was one of the soundest fellas I ever met - he only wanted to do good and make the world a better place and he definitely did that in spades. Hopefully, in time, you will be able to take comfort from the memories of a great man who loved you all very much, and who now plays on a higher pitch waiting for you, one day, to join him in the game. Rest in peace Lester.

Heartfelt condolences to Lester's family on their indescribable loss. As a previous poster stated he was of invaluable assistance to hurling in Leinster when it came to developping underage structures in the province and we are all forever in his debt. May he now rest in peace and the next time I'm visiting my relations in Bennetsbridge I'll be sure to pay my respects where this legend is laid to rest. Codladh sámh a chara.

Lester knew that life is not a dress rehearsal so he lived it to the full. We all learned more about him at his funeral today. He's a great example for leading a full life. You will be very sadly missed Lester.
