My sincere sympathies and shared sadness on the passing of Mr Hearns.

A very learned and terribly nice man who offered an incredible service in his much loved shop, Town Hall Electric. A change in times and the end of an era.

Sincere condolences to Liam's Family. I think I've known Liam all my chess playing life going back to Dalkey CC and Dun Laoghaire. CC. Though we had different playing styles, I always enjoyed the banter and often called in to his shop to either play chess or analyse certain Openings. When we played our 1st Team match in 3 years on Wed 28th Sept and Liam didn't show up I knew it was out of character as it never happened before. Enjoy eternal happines.
