Liam O'CONNELL

So sorry to hear of Liam's death, I had known Liam, Patricia and Sinead for many years and had the pleasure of giving Katie piano lessons a number of years ago.
Liam became my taximan ( he had been my father's taximan for some years prior to this) and we had many nice chats on our journeys. In the days before modern technology he would take out his street map the night before in order to find the best route for the journey. Liam was always very punctual which was particularly important if I was going to the airport or the train station, he would always be outside my house at least 10 minutes before the pre-arranged time, which was very reassuring for me.

I am very sorry to learn of Liam's death. Since we were both young men I regarded Liam with deep respect. My sincere sympathy to Frances, Barry, Patricia and all the O'Connell family.
