On my own behalf and that of the Friends of St. Ita’s Community Hospital I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Sheila and all the Arrigan family and the extended family on the very sad loss of dear Liam who was taken from you so suddenly. I hadn’t know Liam very well but having listen to the wonderful homily by Fr. Mike and the lovely and very moving eulogy given by his two daughters Thelma and Elaine at his funeral Mass today I felt as though I had known Liam always who, by all accounts, was an absolute gentleman, loving, kind and caring who gave so willingly and so generously in the cause of the needy and those less fortunate in the community and further afield - Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis!
