I’m so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. I was a good friend of Helen’s and remember Linda so fondly. RIP.

Deepest condolences to the Burke and Timbs families on the untimely passing of beautiful Linda. Linda was a fellow Ursuline student and one of the funniest girls in the year. She was popular and although our paths have not crossed since our schooldays she left a strong and positive impression. She will be missed by those who loved her and always remembered. We remember Linda as one of the most energetic and fun loving members of the Cernettes band. We shared many good moments and memorable concerts with her including the Montreux Jazz Festival. She will live in our hearts and our loving thoughts. Our deepest condolences to her family.

I was so sorry to learn this morning of the passing of Linda and the deep loss for her family. Please accept my sincere condolences. I was fortunate to meet the bubbly and upbeat person that I found in Linda way back in December 1993. We sang together in the grandeur of a vaulted castle-like restaurant called "Le Babylone"in Carouge in Geneva and we had a blast that night. The previous month we had been at the Salle du Levant in Ferney Voltaire for a Halloween bash. I have been going through some photos this morning and have posted a few of them on the Facebook of "Les Horribles Cernettes". There is a particularly lovely photo of Linda waiting in the wings in Ferney and looking demure - may she find her own wings now and may her spirit soar in the au-delà.

I have joyful memories of our time together as a band member of the Cernettes in Geneva.
