Sincere sadness for the loss of Linda. We worked together in the Adelaide in the late 80s and she will always stay in my memory. RIP
— Shirley Ingram
I have so many wonderful memories of Linda and consider myself very lucky to have had her as a friend and neighbour. She was a wonderful guide to living life well and some of my happiest moments over the last eight years were in her company. I knew my children were in such good hands when she minded them. Once when I had all of Sinead’s classmates here after school those who were not normally minded by Linda felt they needed to sample her pancakes. Next thing I knew all eight of them were over in her house and she was feeding them all. I was mortified until someone pointed out that it was her fault for “feeding the “stray cats”. That was Linda, she fed the stray cats and offered kindness and comfort to all who crossed her path. May she rest in peace

Dear Ian, Jonah, Lydia, Eva, Rachel, Mr and Mrs Burns, Yvonne, Alison, Mark and families and extended families. We are truly very sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She was a true friend and a lovely kind person with a lovely smile, a great sense of fun and a great love of the outdoors and of course her family. I have many memories (and photos) of Linda throughout our nursing training in the Adelaide hospital, and since then over the years in Dublin and Sligo. We had many a laugh together over those years, and I will cherish those memories forever. We are thinking of you all and wish you the love of friends and family, the strength to face each day without her, and warm memories to forever hold on to. She will be sorely missed but I know that her love will live on in your hearts. Gone but never forgotten. Much love and hugs to you all xxx

To Ian, Jonah, Eva, Rachel and Lydia, and all the extended Burns and Craig families, I am so sorry for your loss. Myself, Kitty and Charlie have such wonderful memories of the family holidays we used to go on growing up, and how kind Linda always was. When Linda was walking past the golf club and I was practicing she would always stop for a chat, to check in on how things were going with me, and our family; we will all miss her kindness and how fun she was to be around so much. May she rest in peace.
