To all the Brennan family,

I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Lorcán’s passing. I echo so many of the comments here… Lorcán was such a warm, generous and upbeat person. He was my first team lead in Accenture, and he always took the time to mentor and encourage us-preparing us for our professional journeys ahead. As the years went by, I would pop by the tender team in GCS to say hello and there was always the smile, the warmth and the chat. Occasionally, I would bump into him on the Dart, and we would solve world hunger on the way into the office! I would feel energised for the day just from his zest for life.
It is a great loss that he is no longer with us. My very deepest condolences to you all…
— Yvonne Buckley (formerly Accenture)
To all Lorcan’s family, we are so shocked to hear of his passing. We both spent many years working with Lorcan in Accenture, a kinder, more considerate, more fun work colleague you could not find. May he rest in peace- our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
— Philip and Gillian Cooney
To Lorcan's family and close friends,

Lorcan was an absolute gentleman and truly one of the good guys. We worked together during my time in Accenture over 10 years ago now, and I still have very fond memories of his wit, good nature and above all kindness to a young Business Analyst trying to navigate his way in a big organisation fresh out of college.

My heart sank when I saw this news, so I cannot imagine the grief you are all experiencing at this time. Sending you all my deepest condolences and may God bless his soul.
— Graeme Nesbitt (ex. Accenture colleague)

Marie, Fia, Thea, Cillian and all the Brennan family,

There are no words to express how much we will all miss Lorcán in Accenture. His smile, his words of encouragement, his work ethic, his authenticity and integrity will be remembered by all of us who knew and worked with him. Lorcán had a lot of friends in Accenture (more than most) which is testament to the incredible person he was but we all knew without doubt that his first love was for his family. He talked about you all the time and always so fondly, sharing stories that were filled with warmth and smiling when he spoke of you . It is probably what I loved most about Lorcán.

I hope knowing how deeply he loved you all will bring you comfort and strength, may he rest in peace.
— Hilary O'Meara (Accenture)
We miss Lorcan! He was a leader with a clear vision which he shared with clarity and enthusiasm. He was a great guy, too!

Early March 2023 I messaged him in LinkedIn offering my support. I also sent him a picture of the Eucharistic chapel where I was praying for him and his family. The next day he replied saying: “Lovely. tx so much.. This whole experience has had a deeply spiritual element to it.. when i eventually get back, I will tell you about it.”

Lorcan was a man of Faith. The gift of Faith that makes sense out of what, sometimes, does not make any sense at all to us; a Faith that gives us inner strength, trust, and great peace.
— Marcos Anders (Accenture)
An honor to have known and worked with, such a kind and honest gentleman. Sincere condolences to family and friends.
— Christina Phelan (Accenture)
I had the privilege to work with Lorcán for several years. His sense of humor was legendary. His kindness and decency shined through. As did his love for his family—Marie, Fia, Thea and Cillian, you were the loves of his life and he loved to talk about you all. He was also a consummate professional who helped make Accenture a better place—from the work he did on the Ethics team (which touched every single person at Accenture) to all of his efforts promoting inclusion and diversity. Every thing he did—he made things better and he left the world better than he found it. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. He will be missed.
— Jennifer Handa (Accenture)
Sending my heartfelt condolences to Lorcan’s family. I am grateful for the few but delightful interactions I had with him at work. My prayers of peace and comfort are with all of you.
— Mary Guzman
Lorcan had a way of putting people at ease, even if it was a particularly difficult conversation at work. He included everyone's point of view in his gentle, kind way. He will be deeply missed at Accenture. Condolences to his family.

RIP Lorcan
— Herbie Fowler Hudson
I was hugely sad to hear this news. Lorcán was a friend, colleague and ally to so many, both in and out of Accenture & Ireland! He was a huge advocate for disability (although it was a word he never liked to use). As Accenture Accent on Enablement (AoE) Ireland lead, he ran a hugely successful group which achieved so many successes and milestones throughout the years. He was also so passionate that the Accenture Dublin office should be the first in Europe to get an Accessibility Hub (of which it did a few years back). It is now our job (at Accenture) to ensure that we continue to build & work on all he has done, to ensure that many more people continue to benefit, as he would have wanted them to.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. He will be dearly missed by all!
— Jonathan Bray (Accenture)
To Marie, Fia, Thea, Cillian and all of Lorcán’s extended family.

I was so sorry to hear about Lorcán’s passing. He was the best of people and features in so many of my Accenture memories. He was one of my first lead’s soon after I joined many years ago and oh he was a hard act to follow - he was supportive, caring, a great role model, always authentic, while also being straight when required!

In subsequent years he was a constant support on tenders - would have been lost without him… And any time in GCS for me involved a trip by the Sales Support Team to catch up and have the chats with him - he always made time and oh how lovely it was to hear such proud updates from him about you, his adored family.

The impact he also made in the inclusion and diversity space will live on - while I didn’t work with him in recent years, I loved getting a chance to connect with him on I&D calls and have a quick check in. He was a true gent and will be sorely missed.

My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
— Eleanor Matson - Accenture

Dear Brennan Family,

Im so sorry for your loss, Lorcán was such a wonderful and inspirational man and we are all surely the better for having known him if even briefly.

I first met Lorcán in 2021 after I was diagnosed as Neurodiverse and struggling through a difficult patch in work.

I was directed to Lorcán and instantly the worry and fears I had were washed away by his warmth and the comfort he provided.
Lorcán helped me navigate the unknown, how to have difficult conversations, and how to get access to the supports I needed, he connected me to the wonderful enablment community and then, he opened the door for me to give back to others in and out of work as an inclusion and diversity advocate and a Neurodiversity ambassador.

Because of Lorcán the likes of myself and many other colleagues have been able to flourish and help others.
His impact and kindness ripples continuously and he leaves a wonderful legacy.

I will be forever thankful to have gotten to know him, greatful for the mentorship I was so fortunate to have recieved and honoured to continue on the work he championed so fiercely.

Dear Marie, Fia, Thea, Cillian and all the Brennan family,

I was deeply saddened to hear of Lorcan’s passing. We worked closely together for many years in Accenture and I have very fond memories of his sense of humour and easy smile, his ability to stay calm under pressure and the way he treated everyone with respect and kindness. He was always himself and his commitment to family was clear to see.

Our paths crossed more recently through his work in championing inclusion and diversity. Over a long lunch, we spoke about our girls and what we could do to make the world better for them. He spoke of his family with such pride that day, it really stayed with me.

I am so sorry you have to go through the pain of losing Lorcan far too soon. Sending you our deepest condolences and keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
— Edel Lynch
Dear Marie, Fia, Thea, Cillian,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your loving husband and father. He was such a contagiously positive and constructive human being, and will be missed by everyone whose life he has touched.

I knew him over the years in Accenture, he always struck me as someone who had his priorities right in life and his words and actions made such a real difference. In recent years I had the pleasure of working with him on diversity initiatives, and indeed meeting Marie as Lorcán's commitment to the cause extended to volunteering Marie!

He leaves a legacy of love, care and family.

I worked with Lorcán over many years in Accenture. He was an absolute gent. So fun loving, warm and full of life and vitality. He was passionate about helping others and in particular about shining a light on disability and inclusion. His sense of humour lit up a room. He was one of the very best and he will be sorely missed. I am so very sorry that his time with us and especially with his lovely family has been cut short, but he will not be forgotten and his legacy will live on. I have already been spreading the word about the song and lyrics of “Beautiful People”. The anecdotes shared during Monday’s service were truly humbling, especially his selflessness in giving to charity and helping others. My deepest sympathies and condolences to Marie, Fia, Thea, Cillian and all the family and friends who will miss him.
