Well Ma you never think this day is going to come you were such a powerhouse. When we looked after Grandada who was blind the one thing you dreaded most was losing your sight which happened in 2016. You brought up five kids on your own in sixties Dublin after your marriage breakup. Many ups and downs but you never lost your sense of humour. My love of the movies came from sitting beside you as a child while we watched every Shirley Temple movie and you pinned my hair so it would curl! You stood up for what you believed in including dragging me to a Peace March in the early seventies and hanging a homemade black flag out our front window. You had a beautiful singing voice, I remember neighbours calling you Doris Day you also looked like her. With your ballroom dancing medals Hollywood missed out! Like lots of mothers and daughters we didn't always agree but you really surprised me with your concern & support for Dave when he became seriously ill. He loved chatting with you and matching your wit! We hoped Dave would be well enough to get back to Ireland to see you once more but your sudden passing has left us profoundly sad. Wishing you the peace you deserve. Your religious beliefs were strong so you will appreciate the kind thoughts and prayers sent your way. You were an individual, a one off and will never be forgotten. The angels have a new sweet voice in their choir. We love you deeply, miss you greatly your loving daughter & son in law Tricia & Dave xx

Louise, what a pleasure it was to have known you. Really enjoyed your company and the long hours of chat we had every time we met. THANK you.

Safe journey XX
