Sorry to see the passing of Michael To all the extended Tallon family i extend my sympathy. I have known Michael for a long time. While he would be best known for golf few would associate him with football. He played centre field for Galway in the Connacht final against Mayo in Tuam in 1954 which Galway won. He had an outstanding game. I played minor for Galway that day and saw him play. Unfortunately for galway he was not available for the semi final against Kerry who won by 2 points. Michael may you rest in peace.
