Luke joined our senior team as a (big) 16 year old and came very highly recommended by his underage coaches. His composure and calmness together with his goalkeeping ability led his fellow players to christen him Cool Hands Luke.

Luke excelled in both the 11 and 5 a side versions of the game but by all accounts was a far greater man.

Condolences to all of your family and friends, rest in peace "Cool Hands" Luke.
— Emlyn Long

My condolences to the Nolan family on the Heartbreaking untimely death of your gorgeous, charming and successful son and brother.

As someone who has never even met Luke, I think this serves as a testament at how much of a nice person he was known as.

A credit to his parents and a son anyone would be proud of. His wide circle of friends and girl friend have had such a blessing in their lives knowing him.

Although I am sure the pain is immeasurable, I hope you find some solace in your beautiful son now residing in Heavan with the angels as God has truly taken the best. I pray that you have Faith and be aware that he is always there looking out for you.

Rest in peace sweet soul Luke xxxxx
