Not sure where to start this.... probably since I was a young whan!! You were up and down to Tullavrick to Daragh god knows how many times. You were part of the family... literally!!! A second brother. So many fantastic fun stories and memories.
Yourself and Daragh were the best of buddies, from taking part cars out in the shed, playing war across the river on homemade rafts, going out on the lake, coming to all of our family dos- 18s, 21st, parties and funerals.
The 'MADDD' gang as ye were called, Malachy, Adrian, Daragh, Damien and a few other D's too!!!
You are a gentleman...you were the first to appear at any of our family funerals, place yourself at the sink doing dishes, or acting barman or simply making people feel at ease in the horrible sad situations we faced as a family. Quite simply, Mal, you're one of a kind.
You always made time for our family and for that we are all truly grateful.
Always ready for the chats, 'shite talk' from me, the craic and banter on Facebook.
Declans buddy on over 35's soccer pitch and for the "few" sociables on the nights out.... the ones he could remember that is!!!
You are one in a million, it's not fair that you're gone. We are thinking of your beautiful family and friends left behind. We will be there for your sister Jo, and your amazing family Clíodhna, Cayla, Niamh, MacDara and Roísín. Our memories will stay alive and well. Sleep well xxx all our love Niamh and Declan
