I was very shaken by the heart breaking news of Margaret’s death, we had been close friends since our days in secondary school in Tullow. She was beautiful inside and out, wise, kind and caring. I believed we would grow old together but sadly it was not to be. I will cherish my memories of my lovely friend, her warm smile and gentle nature. My deepest sympathy in this sorrowful time to Martin, Teresa, Carmel, Martina and Patrick, her sisters Anne and Esther and brothers Peter and Micheal, her grandchildren Saoirse, Aoibhinn, Caoimhe, Síofra and Ellen and all of her extended family.
Margaret is no doubt in a place of tranquility, being welcomed and at peace as she travels on. Farewell beloved friend.

Margaret and I were in Brigidine Convent Tullow and later in Carysfort College, friends together. In retirement I had looked forward to saying Hello to her again after all the years and now I have to say Goodbye without reliving shared, precious, fun moments. Margaret(Mags to us) was blest with family, friends, and the next generations. I will miss her. May perpetual light shine upon her.
