My sincerest sympathy to the McKiernan family on the passing of Margaret. I house shared with Maggie when she lived in Newry and have many fond memories. May she rest in peace.

I’m very saddened to hear of Margaret’s passing. I’ve lovely memories of her childhood visits to Cissie with her Dad (Joe) to Ballinaglera. Then our paths crossed in St Angela’s College. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Maggie. Maggie was an amazing person. She had a big heart and a quirky sense of humour. I am going to miss her.

My deepest sympathy to the McKiernan family on the passing of Margaret. I knew Margaret (Maggie) in the wee binnians years ago.At that time she was teaching in Kilkeel. She struck me as a very sincere ,caring person and we had many interesting chats on the walks.Later she moved back to Manorhamilton and Iwas surprised when I met her for the last time at an Easter Saturday vigil mass in Manorhamilton. The family can be assured that Margaret is with the angels in heaven.

40 years ago next month I was lucky to have met Maggie as we started our nurse training in Letterkenny. We had an amazing 3 years together and formed lifelong friendships. Maggie was one of the kindest, caring and funniest girls in the group. Maggie will be so missed from the table at our future reunions but will be forever in our hearts. Rest in peace Maggie.
