It is with sadness we pass our sincere condolences to Frank , Jenni, Lorna and family on the passing of their wife and mum. Margaret was a remarkable woman and it is painful not to be able to pay our final respects in person. We knew Margaret through the Republican movement and later The Workers’ Party. Margaret was progressive in her thinking and a mould breaker. To be a socialist and feminist in the Ireland of her youth took courage and character. She laid the groundwork for many of the rights younger generations take for granted. She also knew that more was to be done. Committed and hardworking she was always hugely supportive and loyal to her ideals and comrades. It is an honour to have known and worked with you, Margaret.
