So very sorry to hear this news, as it feels like the end of an era. I have happy memories of our visits to No. 98 going back many, many years. Rita was such a lovely gentle person in every way and meeting her over the years was always special.

The Cork Road has lost another beautiful lady and you have lost a Mam so loved by you all and her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her daughter and son in laws, their very special person. I have nothing but the loveliest of memories of Rita and can see her in my mind's eye standing at the door of 98 when we were skelping around the road way back when. A gentle and kind elegance is what I remember most with the most beautiful twinkle in her eyes. May she rest in peace. My sincere sympathy to you Isabelle,Anne,Marie, Angela and Eddie I know a light in your world will be burning less brightly with Rita's passing.
