My sincerest sympathies to Mrs Lane and family on the death of Marion. I have very fond memories of meeting Marion during her membership of Mount Pleasant LTC, Ranelagh. She was always so friendly and kind as well as being a proactive member of the Club. May Marion Rest in Peace.

Dear Audrey, Brendan, Caitriona, Eoin and Nollaig - my deepest condolences on this enormous, incomprehensible loss. Marion was a truly beautiful person and a wonderful friend. I was never more in awe of her than in the final three months of her life when she showed us all how precious every single day is. She was remarkable and truly inspirational. I will hold her close always.

My sincere condolences to Marion's family and friends on her loss. She fought such a fight in the past few months and her continued good grace and kindness stayed with her to the end. I am deeply saddened that this beautiful woman lost her fight. I was in secondary school with her and remember her as a vibrant, unique and smart girl who people enjoyed being around. We worked closely together and our cats became screen buddies through Covid, and we had other connections going back in time as she had previously worked with my brother. Marion was one of the first people I met in EY many years ago. She was kind and compassionate, and always wanted to do right by everyone. I had the honour of being one of Marion's school friends. Despite me moving away, we always kept in touch, even if it was just online and Christmas cards. It was in the last 6 months that we really got talking again and reminiscing of the old days and catching up on the intervening years. Marion was always the epitome of poise and elegance. She was the best, a good soul and a great friend and I'll miss our daily chats, and her, terribly. My sincere condolences to all the Lane family, she spoke so proudly of you all.
