My Deepest condolences to Orla, Mark's children and extended family on the sad and sudden passing of Mark. Mark and I first met as teenagers around the show ring and have great memories of the times he spent with us in Kinsale and travelled with us to the Munster Circuit. Life pulled us in different directions but we always shared a common bond, the GSD. Mark had a great eye for the GSD and I valued his opinion as a judge. Mark was respectful and kind towards my family, always helpful with good advice. He will be sorely missed. May He Rest in Peace.

He will be deeply missed, not only for his remarkable talents but also for the warmth and joy he brought into our workplace each day.
Personally, I will miss his calm ‘I’ve got this’ demeanour whenever confronted with anything we put to him.

I am so saddened on hearing of Mark’s sudden passing. One of Mark’s pups (DKNY) is part of my family. She is a credit to Mark’s passion and commitment to the breed. He was always interested in how she was doing in her shows. I saw him late last year when he judged and he was excited at how well his pup was doing. I will miss his support and will ensure his pup makes him proud. My sincere condolences to all of Mark’s family and friends. RIP
