My deep sympathy to Mrs Feeley, Jacinta, and all the Feeley family on the sad death of Martin.I worked with Mr Feeley at the Meath and Tallaght Hospital as a Nurse. He was a excellent vascular surgeon and always gave his patients plenty of time.I sent friends of mine to him at the Charlemont clinic.I used to bring him the Roscommon Herald every week.He loved to read about the Roscommon football team especially when they made it to the Connaught finals and the semifinals. He never got much time to see them play back in the day as he was always on call. He knew of my cousins who played for Ros some of them all stars. His own cousins played for Ros yrs ago Des and Don so he had a great interest.
Jacinta I am sure you have the photo I gave you of Mr Feeley and myself taken at a vascular conference yrs ago. May the light of Heaven shine on his soul where he will be reunited in heaven with my lovely friend Prof Sean Tierney.Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.
