I have just heard the very sad news of Martin’s passing. Martin was our hero in Harold’s Cross in Siopa Linn, he was so knowledgeable about parts and offering solutions to problems. His generosity to his customers will never be forgotten and he certainly made a difference for the better in this life. Indeed Martin is a shining example of what “good customer service means” along with his generosity of spirit. My condolence to his family and to all in Siopa Linn on Martin’s passing. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Sincerest sympathies to Josie, Ronan, Michelle and the extended Flynn family. Martin was a huge asset to our Croke Park Handball & Community Centre over the years especially helping us in our struggle to maintain the old Centre with the draw he organised every week and in the fight to get the new Centre. He will be greatly missed not only because he was a one of a kind community activist and a great conversationalist but also, among those with whom he played cards, because he was without doubt one of the best 110 and 25 players in the country .... so much so that he was presented with a silver medal to recognise that fact by his friends in the Croke Park Handball & Community Centre.
We will miss you Martin. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
