Sincere condolences to the Healy Family. I enjoyed so many chats with Martin, he was a great historian and story teller… about his time in Lyon’s Estate, and Kilkenny long ago! Even though he was a diabetic, he always had biscuits in his house for my dog Jake. He loved gardening, an looked after the flowerpots in Newcastle! He swam several times weekly in Citywest… A fit and funny man! Rest in Peace Martin.

To the extended Healy family our condolences on the passing of Martin. During his many years living in Newcastle, County Dublin, and working on Lyons Estate, Martin was a familiar sight on his bicycle around the Lyons Road or Hazelhatch. Although a very quiet, private and gentle person, he was very highly thought of as a gentleman.
