Our family would affectionally refer to Mr Joe Gunny Thornton as the finest gentleman in Moycullen. Our deepest sympathy : he will always be remembered as a very kind compassionate gregarious man who enjoyed being engaged in conversations filled with history, literature, and politics all waiting to be unraveled. We were amazed and in awe and even today clearly remember how hospitable and engaging how Babe and Joe were . For a teenager in the 1970’s they both leave lasting memories.
Our deepest sympathies and May God continue to hold them in the hallow of.his hand. God Bless him and his family during these times of condolences.
