We were so saddened to hear of Martin’s passing. Our sincerest sympathy to you Joan, Mark, Paul and the extended Molamphy family. Those of us who knew and worked with Martin at St.Kilian’s Junior School have very fond memories of him. He was an absolute gentleman who was extremely well regarded by staff, parents and children. He was a highly respected school principal who had a vision for the school which he pursued with great energy and enthusiasm. He had a strong presence and a big heart that embraced both staff and children, he was a leader in every sense of the word. He is remembered with great affection by all of us. I have very fond memories of working in St. Kilians School with Martin as principal. It was my first teaching post and he was a very caring and kind leader. He was very encouraging, liked a bit of fun and was always kind to the children in his care. May he rest in peace.
