What a fitting tribute the Martin Morrisey Cup is to Martins passion and wonderful that he enjoyed it and brought the cup back to Waterford .

While he was the elder statesman of Dunmore Badminton Club, he was also a driving force for badminton development across Waterford and Munster. For many years Martin and our Dad, Kieran, would head to Dungarvan or Limerick for Badminton association meetings on Mondays twice a month. And we all wanted to be on a team that Martin picked - his insight & knowledge of the game made him the best man to pick a team ever. He leaves a proud legacy! May Martin rest in peace.
