My deepest sympathy and condolences to the Durkan Family. May Martin rest in peace
— Senator Lisa Chambers
So sad to hear of Martins passing, the nicest fella we knew. He welcomed us to Ireland and treated us as though he had known us all his life. When we moved into Mountain View, Culmore he couldnt have been more helpful. I will always have memories of our nights out in Swinford and being introduced to relatives I didnt know I had. I never tired of stories of his life and friends in Mayo and of his work with the ESB.Patricia had great regard for the big guy although she found the accent challenging. Our thoughts are with his wife Mary, and my cousin Mary Durkin.

Rest in peace dear cousin always in our thoughts.
