Mary was a remarkable woman, devoted to her community. She was a loyal servant of Fine Gael and a member for well over half a century. She campaigned tirelessly for many FG reps including Ministers Mark Clinton, John Boland, Nora Owen and James Reilly and, was of course, a fantastic FG elected rep on Balbriggan Town Council. She will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Mary's family, who can be so proud of her and her numerous contributions to her community.

It is with deep sadness that I learnt of Mary’s death. What a great woman. So caring and kind with the best interests of others always to the front of her thoughts. I knew her for more than half a century as a friend. Mary was ready to play her part as a member of the Town Council. She demonstrated that she had vision and the most important political asset “COURAGE”. She was not afraid of the bullies, making the decisions she believed to be the correct ones for her community.
Mary was a lovely person, kind generous and fun. My condolences to Mary's family and friends.
